A Psalm of Thanksgiving
Father, thank you for saving me, what more can I say?
For without your grace, I would be lost to the endless void.
You found me and still find me in my mistakes and when I fall short.
You do not turn your face away from my unpredictable ways or when I lose your voice.
You are my North Star and constant, day and night,
A light at the end of an endless tunnel which can fill me with despair.
O great Adonai, praise to you for your guidance this year
For without your constant presence where would we be.
A firm foundation in the storm of 2020,
A provider for all our needs, Jehovah Jireh.
For who is there like you?
None can compare to your matchless grace and love.
With you, I hold fast to the promise that the best is yet to come.
A glorious future in communion with you.
Thank you that you have never left my side or abandoned me.
You never forsake my call or leave me to falter in circumstances that cannot be overcome with you.
Thank you for, the shop in Royston, a calm Elim, an oasis in choppy waters.
Praise be to you for amazing volunteers filled with your love.
Your blessings can be seen in through them in conversation and deed,
Your grace shines through their very countenance.
Continue to work through us and in us,
May prayer be our anchor and firm foundation to battle a world found wanting.
Thank you that the ancient doors are beginning to crack open with your light,
I long to praise you for when they are flung open wide and a blaze shines forth.
Thank you for what you are going to do in Garngad this year.
The wonderful team who are in place shall advance your kingdom love.
Jehovah Mekoddishkem, we thank you for protection and opportunity.
Jehovah Shalom, we praise you for your enduring peace without newfound friends.
