Early one Spring morning in April 2021, I received a phone call from my son asking if I would possibly be interested in a mature women’s Bible Read Through group. He explained how this group would work through Zoom and ladies from Scotland, England and Ireland would come together and share what God put in each of our hearts and pray for each other.
Living in Las Cruces, NM USA, the group would meet on Tuesday evening, which is noon for me. My son was going to lead this group. Well that sealed the deal for me! Brian and all of us women, old enough to be his mother (at least I was), began this new adventure.
It’s been almost two years now and even though we lost Brian from our group a long time ago, this group of ladies have become my answer to a long time prayer request for female friendships. Covid was the tool God used in my life for a Bible study and trusted friendships as sisters in Christ.
I had just lost both my parents and only sibling, my sister, and now I have many new Christian sisters to share my life. Brian was only in our group a short time but drew nine women to begin new adventures in Christ.

Pray that even big challenges and unexpected circumstances would be used by God as tools to bring about long prayed prayer requests! Ask Him to help you be watchful for where He is doing this.
